Ingredients
  

For the Chicken

  • 2 pieces chicken breasts Boneless and skinless preferred
  • 0.5 cup Korean BBQ sauce For marinating

For the Slaw

  • 1 cup cabbage, shredded Use green or red cabbage
  • 1 piece carrot, shredded For color and crunch
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise To bind the slaw
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning

For the Sandwich

  • 2 pieces sandwich buns Toast lightly before assembling
  • optional sesame seeds for garnish Sprinkle on top before serving

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Marinate the chicken breasts in Korean BBQ sauce for at least 30 minutes.

Cooking

  • Preheat grill or skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken until fully cooked, about 6-7 minutes per side.

Slaw Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix the shredded cabbage, carrot, and mayonnaise. Season with salt and pepper.

Assembly

  • Toast the sandwich buns lightly.
  • Assemble the sandwich by placing the cooked chicken on the bun and topping it with cabbage slaw.
  • Serve with additional Korean BBQ sauce on the side for dipping.

Notes

For best results, marinate the chicken for a few hours or overnight. Don’t skip toasting the buns for added texture. Adjust the BBQ sauce amount as per your taste. The dish is best served immediately with optional toppings like sliced cucumbers or jalapeños.
