  • 4 oz cream cheese Ensure it's at room temperature for easier mixing.
  • 1/4 cup powdered sweetener You can experiment with different low-carb sweeteners.
  • 1 tsp cinnamon For extra flavor, consider adding a drop of vanilla extract.
  • 1 egg Beaten for coating.
  • 2 tbsp butter For frying the roll-ups.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Combine the cream cheese and powdered sweetener in a bowl. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  • Flatten the low-carb tortillas using a rolling pin.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over each tortilla. Roll them up tightly from one end to the other.
  • Mix together the cinnamon and sweetener in a separate dish. Beat the egg in another container.
  • Dip each rolled-up tortilla in the beaten egg, allowing any excess to drip off.
  • Coat each roll-up in the cinnamon and sweetener mixture until they are fully covered.

Cooking

  • Heat butter in a pan over medium heat. Cook the roll-ups in the pan until they are golden brown and crispy on all sides.

Serving

  • Remove from the pan, let them cool slightly, then serve warm with whipped cream or fresh berries.

Notes

Store leftover roll-ups in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Reheat in a skillet or microwave.
