  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil For stir-frying

  • In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  • Add the broccoli and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until vibrant green and slightly tender.
  • Push the broccoli to the side of the pan and add the shrimp. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, and garlic. Pour the sauce over the shrimp and broccoli, stirring to combine.
  • Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve over cooked rice or noodles if desired.

Notes

To store leftovers, let the dish cool to room temperature. Place in an airtight container and keep in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. You can freeze it for up to a month. When ready to eat, just reheat in a skillet or microwave until hot. For variations, you can swap shrimp for chicken or tofu, and add vegetables like bell peppers or snap peas.
