Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Topping

  • REAL Maple Syrup for topping

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • In another bowl, whisk together buttermilk, egg, and melted butter.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

Cooking

  • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake.
  • Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown on the other side.

Serving

  • Serve warm with REAL Maple Syrup on top.

Notes

If you have leftover pancakes, let them cool completely, then place them in an airtight container. They can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 2 months. To reheat, pop them in the toaster or microwave until warm. For extra flavor, consider adding a splash of vanilla extract to the batter.
