  • 1.5 cups almond flour
  • 0.25 cups unsalted butter, melted
  • 0.25 cups sugar
  • 0.25 teaspoons salt
  • 1 large egg

Filling Ingredients

  • 4-5 pieces fresh peaches, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 0.25 cups honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, mix almond flour, melted butter, sugar, and salt until combined.
  • Add the egg and mix until a dough forms.
  • Press the dough into a tart pan evenly across the bottom and up the sides.
  • Bake the crust for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden.

Filling

  • In another bowl, toss the sliced peaches with lemon juice, honey, and vanilla extract.
  • Arrange the peach mixture over the baked crust.
  • Bake for an additional 20-25 minutes until the peaches are tender.
  • Allow to cool before serving.

Notes

Serve this tart at room temperature or slightly chilled. It pairs perfectly with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Garnish with fresh mint leaves for an added touch.
