  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme Or 1/4 teaspoon dried

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Slice the King's Hawaiian rolls in half.
  • In a bowl, mix the mayonnaise and horseradish together. Spread this mixture on the inside of the rolls.

Making the Sliders

  • Layer half of the sliced cheese on the bottom half of the rolls.
  • Add the deli roast beef, followed by caramelized onions, and top with the remaining cheese.
  • Place the top halves of the rolls on the sliders.
  • In a small bowl, mix melted butter with Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, parsley, and some salt and pepper.
  • Brush this mixture over the top of the rolls.

Making the Jus

  • In a saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and cook briefly until fragrant.
  • Stir in the flour if using, then gradually whisk in the beef broth.
  • Add Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  • Simmer until slightly thickened.

Serving

  • Cut the sliders into individual pieces and serve them warm.
  • Serve the beef jus in small bowls for dipping.
  • Sprinkle some chopped parsley on top for an extra touch and flavor.

Notes

For extra flavor, let the roast beef marinate in the Worcestershire sauce before assembling. You can add sautéed mushrooms or bell peppers for added texture and taste. For gooey cheese, cover the sliders with foil during baking and remove it for the last few minutes.
