  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 package stuffing mix
  • 2 cups chicken broth Homemade broth for extra flavor is recommended.
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream Add more for creaminess if desired.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese Experiment with different types of cheese for unique taste.
  • 1/2 cup diced celery
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Paprika for garnish

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, stuffing mix, chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, celery, onion, salt, and pepper. Mix until everything is well combined.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Spread the mixture evenly and sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.
  • Sprinkle paprika for garnish.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until heated through and golden on top.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve warm. For added crunch, pair with fresh salad or crusty bread. Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for 3-4 days, or freeze for 2-3 months.
