  • 1 cup chicken broth Use low-sodium for a healthier option.
  • 1 cup spinach Optional, can be substituted with other vegetables.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder For flavor enhancement.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon and set aside, leaving the drippings in the pan.
  • Add the diced chicken to the skillet and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook until the chicken is no longer pink.
  • Stir in the heavy cream and chicken broth, bringing the mixture to a simmer.
  • Add the gnocchi and cook according to package instructions, until they float to the top.
  • If using, stir in the spinach until wilted.
  • Serve topped with crispy bacon and grated Parmesan cheese.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding sautéed garlic or onion along with the chicken. If you like spice, add a pinch of red pepper flakes when cooking the chicken. To store leftovers, let cool to room temperature, transfer to an airtight container, and refrigerate for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
