  • 2 breasts chicken breasts, sliced
  • 2 stalks of lemongrass, minced For freshest flavor, use fresh lemongrass.
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons of fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1 lime juiced

Cooking ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil For cooking the chicken.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix the minced lemongrass, garlic, fish sauce, soy sauce, sugar, and lime juice.
  • Add the sliced chicken to the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 minutes.

Cooking

  • Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  • Add the marinated chicken to the pan and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
  • Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.

Notes

This dish is best served hot with jasmine rice or noodles. You can add fresh veggies or a light salad to enhance the meal. For a vegetarian version, substitute chicken with tofu or vegetables.
