  • 1-2 tea bags tea bags (black or green tea) Adjust based on desired strength.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Adjust to taste.
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon Feel free to sprinkle extra on top when serving.
  • 2 tablespoons sugar or honey Optional sweetener; can use maple syrup or stevia.

Preparation

  • In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
  • Add the tea bags and let them steep for 3-5 minutes, depending on your desired strength.
  • Remove the tea bags and stir in the milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon.
  • Sweeten with sugar or honey to taste, if desired.
  • Warm the mixture over medium heat until hot, then pour into a mug and enjoy!

Notes

Store any leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat gently on the stove or microwave, stirring well before serving again. You can also try adding a pinch of nutmeg for an extra layer of flavor.
