Ingredients
  

  • 6 slices white sandwich bread, toasted
  • 1/2 cup cowboy mayo (see notes for substitute)
  • 8 ounces sliced deli turkey
  • 4 romaine lettuce leaves
  • 2 roma tomatoes (about 8 slices, seasoned with salt and pepper)
  • 1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese, thinly sliced
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked crispy
  • Kosher salt and ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions
 

  • Toaster: Toast all bread slices until golden.
  • Prepare: Toss tomato slices with salt and pepper. Cook turkey bacon until crispy.
  • Assemble: On 3 slices of bread, spread mayo, layer turkey, cheese, tomatoes, romaine, and bacon. Top with remaining bread slices.
  • Finish: Slice sandwiches into quarters and serve.

Notes

Substitute cowboy mayo with 1/2 cup plain mayo + 1 teaspoon smoked paprika + 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce.
Use roasted turkey for extra depth or chicken breast if preferred.
For gluten-free option, use certified gluten-free bread.
To prevent sogginess, apply mayo to both bread slices and serve immediately.
