Onions

  • 3-4 pieces Vidalia sweet onions Known for their mild sweetness.

Seasoning

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter Pats to place over the onions.
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp oregano

Cheeses

  • 1 cup Italian blend cheese, finely shredded
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, finely shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, finely shredded

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Coat a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Slice the Vidalia onions into ¼ inch thick rounds.
  • Spread the sliced onions evenly in the baking dish.
  • Season the onions with salt, garlic powder, and oregano.
  • Place pats of butter over the onions.
  • Sprinkle the Italian blend cheese, cheddar cheese, and Parmesan cheese over the top.

Cooking

  • Bake in the oven for 35-40 minutes, until the cheese is browned and bubbly.

Notes
