Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef Use lean ground beef to reduce excess fat.
  • 1 can refried beans
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 cup Fritos Can substitute with any crunchy snack like tortilla chips.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • Sour cream (optional) For serving.
  • Salsa (optional) For serving.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  • Stir in the taco seasoning and a little water as per package instructions. Add the refried beans and cooked rice, mixing well.

Assembly

  • Lay a tortilla on a flat surface and spoon a portion of the beef mixture down the center.
  • Add Fritos and sprinkle with cheese.
  • Roll up the burrito, folding in the sides to enclose the filling.
  • Repeat with remaining tortillas.

Cooking

  • Optionally, heat a skillet and grill the burritos until golden brown on both sides.

Notes

Serve warm on a plate with a dollop of sour cream and a scoop of salsa. Can also be paired with tortilla chips or a fresh salad for a complete meal. To store leftovers, wrap tightly in plastic wrap or aluminum foil and refrigerate for up to three days.
