  • 1 apple, diced Use a sweet variety like Fuji or Honeycrisp.
  • 1 kiwi, diced
  • 1 cup strawberries, diced Fresh strawberries work best.
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice Freshly squeezed lime juice is recommended.
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional) Adjust based on sweetness preference.

Cinnamon Sugar Tortilla Chips Ingredients

  • 4 pieces flour tortillas Can substitute with whole wheat tortillas.
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon sugar (1 tablespoon cinnamon + 1 tablespoon sugar)
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter Can use oil as a lower-fat alternative.

Preparation

  • In a medium bowl, mix the diced apples, kiwi, strawberries, and raspberries. Add lime juice and honey if desired, stirring gently to combine.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Cooking

  • Brush each tortilla lightly with melted butter on both sides. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
  • Cut tortillas into wedges and arrange on a baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes or until the edges are crispy and golden.

Serving

  • Serve the fruit salsa in a bowl and place the warm cinnamon sugar tortilla chips on the side.
  • Optionally, serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Notes

Store leftover fruit salsa in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Reheat chips in the oven to restore crispiness.
