  • 1 clove garlic Minced
  • 1 tsp lemon juice Freshly squeezed
  • Salt and pepper To taste

  • Olive oil For cooking

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, fresh herbs, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  • Lay the salmon fillets flat and spread a generous amount of the cream cheese mixture on each fillet.
  • Roll the salmon fillets tightly and secure them with toothpicks or kitchen twine.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Sear the salmon pinwheels for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Transfer the pinwheels to a baking dish and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes, or until salmon is cooked through.
  • Remove from the oven, slice into pinwheels, and serve warm.

Notes

Use fresh herbs for the best flavor. You can mix and match according to your taste preferences. Make sure to not overcook the salmon; it should be moist and flaky. If you're short on time, you can prepare the cream cheese filling in advance and store it in the fridge.
