Ingredients
  

Dough Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 packet instant yeast (2 1/4 teaspoons)
  • 1/2 cup milk, warmed
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 large egg

Filling Ingredients

  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup strawberries, chopped

Glaze Ingredients

  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 2-3 tablespoons milk (for glaze)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and instant yeast together.
  • In another bowl, combine warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Mix well.
  • Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
  • Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  • Let the dough rise in a warm place for 30-45 minutes or until doubled in size.

Assembly and Baking

  • Roll out the dough into a rectangle. Spread cream cheese over the surface and sprinkle with chopped strawberries.
  • Roll the dough tightly and cut it into equal pieces.
  • Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

Glaze

  • For the glaze, mix powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
  • Drizzle the glaze over the warm rolls before serving.

Notes

Serve warm for best experience. Great with whipped cream or ice cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days, or freeze individually for up to a month.
