  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional) For a spicy kick
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, olive oil, minced garlic, ground ginger, and red pepper flakes if using.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the boneless chicken breasts in it.

Cooking

  • Cook the chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F / 74°C).
  • Pour the prepared honey sauce over the cooked chicken in the skillet, reduce heat to low and simmer for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally to thicken and coat the chicken.
  • Once the sauce is sticky, sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve immediately.
