  • 1 package Dumplings You can use fresh or frozen dumplings.

Broth Ingredients

  • 4 cups Vegetable or chicken broth Use well-seasoned broth.
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Or to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper Or to taste.

Spices and Vegetables

  • 2 tablespoons Grated ginger Optional for added flavor.
  • 2 cloves Grated garlic Or garlic powder.
  • 1 whole Red chili Adjust according to spice preference.
  • 2 stems Spring onion greens Chopped, for garnish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a pot, heat some oil and add the grated ginger and garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
  • Add the broth and bring it to a boil.
  • Once boiling, add the soy sauce and season with salt and pepper.

Cooking

  • Drop in the dumplings and cook until they float to the surface, indicating they are cooked.
  • Stir in the spring onion greens and red chili.
  • Serve hot and enjoy your spicy dumpling soup.

Notes

Store any leftover soup in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Reheat over low heat. For best texture, consider cooking leftover dumplings fresh.
