Pasta and Base Ingredients

  • 8 oz elbow macaroni Cook according to package instructions.
  • 1 cup Boursin cheese Provides a creamy texture and rich flavor.
  • 2 cups milk Use whole milk for creaminess.
  • 2 tbsp butter Melt in a saucepan.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Can add extra for topping.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Season to your preference.

Instructions
 

Cooking the Pasta

  • Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.

Making the Cheese Sauce

  • In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add the milk and bring to a simmer.
  • Stir in the Boursin cheese and Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.

Combining and Serving

  • Combine the cooked macaroni with the cheese sauce and mix well.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

You can make a baked version by transferring it to a baking dish topped with breadcrumbs or cheese and baking at 350°F (175°C) for about 20 minutes.
