  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: red pepper flakes for heat

Cooking

  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the sliced kielbasa and cook until browned.
  • Add the onion and garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent.
  • Stir in the chopped cabbage and cook until it wilts and is tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.

Notes

For additional flavor, mix different types of sausages. Consider adding carrots or bell peppers for extra crunch. Do not overcook the cabbage; it should remain tender but crisp.
