Equipment

  • 1 Oven Preheated to 425°F
  • 1 Baking Sheet Large, rimmed
  • 1 Mixing bowl For tossing sprouts

Ingredients
  

1 lb fresh Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved

2 tbsp olive oil

3 tbsp balsamic vinegar (or glaze)

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

Optional: 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey

Instructions
 

Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

Trim Brussels sprouts, cut in half, and place in a mixing bowl.

Toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.

Spread sprouts on a baking sheet in a single layer.

Roast for 15 minutes, remove and drizzle balsamic vinegar or glaze over sprouts.

Return to oven for another 10 minutes until caramelized and crispy

Serve hot with an extra drizzle of balsamic glaze if desired

    Notes

    For extra crispness, avoid overcrowding the pan. Add maple syrup or honey for a sweeter glaze.
