Ingredients
  

Fruit Filling

  • 4 cups peaches, sliced Use fresh, ripe peaches for the best flavor.
  • 2 cups raspberries Fresh or thawed from frozen.
  • 1/2 cup sugar Adjust depending on the sweetness of the fruit.
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch Can substitute with arrowroot powder or all-purpose flour.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Topping

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

For Serving

  • Vanilla ice cream For serving, optional but recommended.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the peaches, raspberries, 1/2 cup sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla extract. Pour the fruit mixture into a greased baking dish.

Topping

  • In another bowl, mix together the flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir in the melted butter until the mixture is crumbly.
  • Sprinkle the oat mixture evenly over the fruit.

Baking

  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the fruit is bubbly.
  • Serve warm with homemade vanilla ice cream on top.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days. Reheat in the oven at a low temperature or microwave individual portions.
