Ingredients
  

For the tea

  • 4 cups water Use filtered water for the best taste.
  • 2-4 teabags black or green tea Adjust based on desired strength of flavor.
  • Honey or sweetener to taste Honey or sweetener (optional) You can skip this if the peaches are sweet enough.

For the peach preparation

  • 2-3 pieces peaches (fresh or frozen) Fresh ripe peaches are preferred for the best flavor.

For serving

  • Ice cubes Ice cubes For serving chilled drink.
  • Fresh mint leaves Fresh mint leaves (optional for garnish) Adds a refreshing touch.

Instructions
 

Brewing the tea

  • Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a pot.
  • Once boiling, remove from heat and add the tea bags. Let steep for 5-7 minutes.

Preparing peaches

  • Meanwhile, if using fresh peaches, slice them and muddle in a pitcher; if using frozen, add them directly.

Combining ingredients

  • Remove tea bags and pour the brewed tea over the muddled peaches.
  • Stir in honey or sweetener if desired.
  • Allow the mixture to cool, then refrigerate until chilled.

Serving

  • Serve over ice, garnished with fresh mint leaves.

Notes

You can store any leftover Peach Iced Tea in a covered pitcher in the refrigerator for 3-5 days. Give it a stir before serving as ingredients may settle. Use ripe peaches for the best flavor and adjust sweetness to taste.
