  • 2 pieces ripe peaches, sliced Choose ripe peaches for the best flavor.
  • 8 oz burrata cheese If burrata is unavailable, fresh mozzarella is a good alternative.
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze Add just before serving to keep the salad crisp.
  • to taste Olive oil Optional, for extra flavor.

Garnish

  • to taste Fresh basil leaves

Preparation

  • Wash the peaches, cut them in half, remove the pit, and slice each half into thin wedges.
  • On a serving platter, arrange the peach slices evenly.
  • Tear the burrata cheese into pieces and place it on top of the peach slices.
  • Scatter fresh basil leaves over the salad.
  • Drizzle balsamic glaze over the top.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste. If desired, drizzle a little olive oil for extra flavor.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

This salad is best served fresh. It pairs well with grilled meats or can stand alone as a light lunch. Enjoy with a chilled white wine. To store leftovers, place in an airtight container in the fridge and consume within a day.
