Ingredients
  

Chicken Wings

  • 2 pounds chicken wings Ensure wings are fully thawed if using frozen.

Seasoning

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil Used to coat the wings.
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika
  • teaspoon cayenne Adjust based on spice preference.
  • ½ teaspoon oregano
  • ½ teaspoon thyme

Buffalo Sauce

  • cup Frank’s hot sauce Use your favorite hot sauce.
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with foil for easy cleanup.
  • In a large bowl, combine the seasoning ingredients: salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne, oregano, and thyme.
  • Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. Then, toss them in olive oil and coat them evenly with the seasoning mix.

Cooking

  • Place the wings on a wire rack set over the baking sheet in a single layer.
  • Bake for 45-50 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are golden brown and fully cooked.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together Frank’s hot sauce, melted butter, and honey.
  • Once the wings are baked, toss them in the Buffalo sauce until they are fully coated.

Notes

Serve the wings hot with a side of celery sticks and blue cheese or ranch dressing for dipping. Make sure to pat the wings dry well before seasoning to get them extra crispy. Feel free to adjust the amount of cayenne pepper based on your spice preference. If you have any leftovers, place them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. Reheat in the oven to maintain crispiness.
