  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup milk Can substitute with almond or coconut milk for a dairy-free version.
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated Nutritional yeast can be used for a dairy-free option.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

  • In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Add the pasta and enough water to cover it. Bring to a boil and cook until the pasta is al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
  • Reduce the heat and stir in the milk and Parmesan cheese, mixing until creamy.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat on the stove over low heat, adding a splash of milk if needed. Variations include adding vegetables or proteins like spinach, broccoli, or grilled chicken. For a richer flavor, use broth instead of water.
