  • 1 ea egg (room temp) Make sure it's at room temperature for the best texture.
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • pinch salt (optional)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Crack the egg right into a microwave-safe mug and whisk with a fork until frothy.
  • Add the Nutella and stir until smooth.
  • Sprinkle in the brown sugar and add the flour. Mix until you have a lump-free batter.

Cooking

  • Put the mug in the microwave and cook for about 1 minute until the cake rises and feels set on top.
  • If the center is still soft, microwave in 10-second bursts until done.

Serving

  • Let it cool briefly and enjoy straight from the mug or transfer to a plate.
  • Top with whipped cream, ice cream, or fresh fruit, and drizzle with chocolate or caramel sauce if desired.
