Ingredients

  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 1/2 cups ice cold water
  • 1 (3.4 ounce) box vanilla instant pudding mix
  • 3 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 4 cups sliced bananas (ripe but firm)
  • 1 (12 ounce) box Nilla Wafers

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk, ice water, and vanilla instant pudding mix until well combined.
  • Chill the pudding mixture for 5 minutes to allow it to start thickening.
  • In another bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the pudding mixture until smooth.
  • In individual cups, layer Nilla Wafers, banana slices, and banana pudding mixture.
  • Repeat layers, finishing with a top layer of pudding and a few banana slices.
  • Chill the cups in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

Chilling the cups improves the texture and firmness of the pudding.
Ripe bananas add sweetness and texture without being mushy.
Substitute gluten-free Nilla Wafers for a gluten-free version.
