Main Ingredients

  • 1 pack Hawaiian rolls (12-count)
  • 8–10 slices cheddar cheese or preferred cheese
  • 4 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, beef bacon, or chicken bacon (optional) Use any of the preferred bacon types.
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • Pinch salt and pepper

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  • Slice the entire sheet of Hawaiian rolls horizontally without separating them.
  • Lay cheese slices evenly on the bottom half.
  • Add turkey bacon, beef bacon, or chicken bacon if using.
  • Place the top half of the rolls back on.
  • Mix melted butter with garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  • Brush the butter mixture across the tops of the rolls.

Baking

  • Cover with foil and bake for 12 minutes.
  • Remove foil and bake another 5–7 minutes until golden.
  • Slice and serve warm.

Notes

These rolls are best served warm right out of the oven. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat before serving. For a crunchier top, consider adding breadcrumbs before baking.
