  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup macaroni pasta Cook according to package instructions.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large egg
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook the macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, cooked macaroni, shredded cheese, breadcrumbs, milk, ketchup, onion, garlic, egg, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix until well combined.
  • Transfer the mixture into a greased casserole dish and spread it evenly.
  • Top with additional cheese if desired.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45-55 minutes, or until the meatloaf is cooked through and the top is golden.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Serve warm with a simple green salad or steamed vegetables. Offer extra ketchup or hot sauce on the side for added flavor.
