  • 1/2 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1/4 cup Unsalted butter For frying
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh lemon juice Drizzle over cooked fish
  • Lemon zest For garnish

For the Garlic Aioli

  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced Adjust according to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh lemon juice, to taste
  • Salt and pepper To taste

Preparation

  • Start by cutting the fish fillets into bite-sized pieces.
  • In a bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  • Dredge each piece of fish in the flour mixture until fully coated.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add the fish bites to the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Drizzle the fresh lemon juice over the cooked fish.

Preparing Aioli

  • For the aioli, combine the mayonnaise, minced garlic, and lemon juice in a small bowl.
  • Mix well and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serving

  • Serve the fish bites hot, garnished with lemon zest and fresh parsley, alongside the garlic aioli for dipping.

Notes

Make sure the fish is fresh, as it greatly affects the taste. You can prepare the garlic aioli in advance and let the flavors meld in the fridge. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
