Ingredients
  

For the patties

  • 1 lb Ground beef Choose high-quality ground beef for best flavor.
  • 1 tsp Salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1 tsp Pepper Adjust to taste.
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese Shredded or sliced to melt easily.

For the tacos

  • 4 leaves Lettuce leaves Romaine or iceberg works great as a taco shell.
  • 1 cup Tomatoes Diced.
  • 1 small Onion Diced, use red or white.
  • 1 medium Avocado Sliced.
  • 1/4 cup Sugar-free taco sauce For drizzling over the tacos.
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil For cooking the patties.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  • Form ground beef into patties, season with salt and pepper, and smash them onto the pan.
  • Cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  • In the last minute of cooking, add cheddar cheese on top of each patty to melt.
  • Once cooked, assemble tacos by placing the patties in lettuce leaves.
  • Top with diced tomatoes, onions, sliced avocado, and sugar-free taco sauce.

Notes

For the best flavor, use fresh ingredients. You can store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator and enjoy them within 2-3 days. Reheat the patties before assembling the tacos again.
