Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups almond flour
  • 0.5 cups coconut flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder Ensure it is fresh for the best rise.
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 0.25 cups butter, melted
  • 3 large eggs

Mix-ins

  • 1 cup cooked sausage, crumbled Use cooked sausage to save time.
  • 0.5 cups shredded cheese (optional) Choose your favorite type of cheese.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter and eggs until smooth.
  • Combine the wet ingredients with the dry mixture until well incorporated.
  • Fold in the crumbled sausage and shredded cheese if using.
  • Scoop the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, forming small biscuits.

Baking

  • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

These biscuits are best served warm. Pair them with a side of avocado or a dollop of sour cream. Stored leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to four days; reheat in the oven or microwave.
