Ingredients
  

Vegetables

  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cups cauliflower florets

Meats

  • 1 cup smoked sausage, sliced Can substitute with Italian or bratwurst sausage.

Dairy

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the smoked sausage and cook until browned.
  • Add the broccoli and cauliflower to the skillet and sauté for about 5 minutes until slightly tender.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth.
  • Pour the cheese mixture over the sautéed veggies and sausage. Stir to combine.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve warm. Pair with a green salad or low-carb bread. For extra flavor, add herbs or more cheese on top before serving.
