  • 6 oz Salami Chopped
  • 8 oz Mozzarella cheese Cubed
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese Grated
  • 4 cups Lettuce Chopped
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes Halved
  • 1 large Cucumber Chopped
  • 1/2 medium Red onion Thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup Pepperoncini Sliced

Vinaigrette

  • 1/4 cup Olive oil Extra virgin recommended
  • 2 tbsp Red wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 clove Garlic Minced
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Chop all salad ingredients: salami, mozzarella, parmesan, lettuce, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, and pepperoncini.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, red wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, salt, and pepper to make the vinaigrette.

Assembly

  • Combine the chopped ingredients in a large bowl.
  • Drizzle with the vinaigrette and toss to coat evenly.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy your fresh Italian chopped salad!

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or carrots for extra crunch. Customize the salad by changing the cheese or using a different type of meat, such as pepperoni or ham. For a vegetarian version, omit the salami and add more cheese or beans for protein.
