  • 2 tablespoons butter (melted)
  • 1/4 cup milk Add gradually until dough forms.
  • Fresh chives Optional, for topping.

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Stir in the mashed potatoes and melted butter.
  • Gradually add milk until a dough forms.
  • Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently.
  • Shape the dough into a round disk about 1 inch thick.

Cooking

  • Serve warm, topped with fresh chives if desired.

Notes
