Ingredients
  

Tortilla Chips

  • 1 bag Tostitos Scoops tortilla chips (10 oz)

Filling

  • 1 block cream cheese, softened (8 oz) Ensure cream cheese is soft for easy mixing.
  • 8 oz shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 can sweet corn, drained (15 oz)
  • 1 can green chiles (4 oz) Use mild or medium according to preference.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Garnish

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese For garnish.

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Arrange tortilla chips on the baking sheet, cup side up.
  • In a bowl, combine cream cheese, mozzarella, egg, corn, green chiles, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth.

Assembly

  • Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the mixture into each chip.
  • Top with Parmesan cheese.

Baking

  • Bake for 13–15 minutes, or until golden and bubbling.
  • Cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm for the best texture and flavor!

Notes

Serve Iowa Party Bites warm on a platter. They make a great appetizer or snack. They can also be paired with salsa or guacamole for extra flavor. To store, let them cool completely before placing in an airtight container in the fridge. They can last for 2-3 days and can be reheated in the oven or microwave.
