  • Toasted Sesame Seeds/Extra Chili Flakes Optional for garnish.

Instructions

Marinate the Chicken

  • Combine olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
  • Add the chicken and mix until well coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Cook the Chicken

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  • Cook the marinated chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side until it’s cooked through and has a nice golden brown color.
  • Once done, remove it from the pan and set aside.

Make the Hot Honey Sauce

  • In the same skillet, add butter (or olive oil) and minced garlic.
  • Sauté for about a minute.
  • Then add honey, chili flakes, and apple cider vinegar. Stir the mixture until it’s well combined and heated.

Assemble and Finish

  • Return the chicken to the skillet and coat it with the hot honey sauce.
  • Make sure each piece is well covered.
  • Crumble the feta cheese over the top and let it melt slightly.

Serve

  • Garnish with parsley or mint, lemon zest or juice, and toasted sesame seeds or extra chili flakes if desired.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

To store any leftovers, allow the chicken to cool completely. Place it in an airtight container and refrigerate. It should stay fresh for up to 3 days. For longer storage, consider freezing it for up to 2 months. For added depth of flavor, let the chicken marinate longer, even overnight if possible. Avoid overcrowding the skillet when cooking the chicken to ensure even cooking. Taste the hot honey sauce as you make it; adjust the sweetness or spice based on your preference.
