Ingredients
  

Brownie Batter

  • 1 cup unsalted butter Melted
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 large eggs Room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder Unsweetened
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  • In a large bowl, melt the butter and mix in the sugar until well combined.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.

Baking

  • Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Allow to cool in the pan before cutting into squares.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature, optionally topped with ice cream or chocolate sauce. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days or freeze for up to three months.
