  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 2 cups Green beans Fresh
  • 1 medium Onion Chopped
  • 3 medium Potatoes Diced
  • 1 can Tomatoes (with juice)
  • 1 cup Beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese Shredded

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  • Add chopped onions and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until onions are translucent.
  • Stir in green beans, diced potatoes, tomatoes (with juice), beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Bring the mixture to a simmer, then transfer it to a baking dish.
  • Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour.
  • Remove the foil, sprinkle cheddar cheese on top, and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Notes

Serve hot with a side salad or crusty bread. For added flavor, consider using ground turkey or sausage. You can mix in other vegetables like corn or bell peppers for extra nutrition.
