  • 1/2 cup sour cream (full-fat or low-fat) Choose according to preference
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (about 1 oz) Adjust according to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh chives (finely chopped) Optional, can use other herbs
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder Adjust seasoning to taste
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice Freshly squeezed is preferred

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine cottage cheese and sour cream until smooth.
  • Add ranch seasoning mix and garlic powder; mix well to combine.
  • Fold in chopped chives and lemon juice, adjusting seasoning to taste.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour to let flavors meld.
  • Serve chilled with your choice of vegetables or chips.

Notes

Store any leftover dip in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Stir well before serving again. Use a blender for a creamier texture and feel free to add other herbs or ingredients for variations.
