  • 1 cup Greek yogurt Use low-fat if desired.
  • 1 cucumber grated cucumber Grate before mixing.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic for best flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Freshly squeezed preferred.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped Can substitute with dried dill.
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast, cooked and shredded Marinate for added flavor if desired.
  • 2 Mixed greens or lettuce For serving.
  • 1 cup tomatoes, diced Fresh for best taste.
  • 1/2 red onion, sliced Adjust amount based on preference.

Instructions
 

Preparation of Tzatziki Sauce

  • In a bowl, mix the Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, and dill. Season with salt and pepper.

Combine Chicken and Sauce

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken with the tzatziki sauce.

Assemble the Salad

  • On a plate, arrange a bed of mixed greens and top with the chicken mixture, diced tomatoes, and sliced red onion.

Serve

  • Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

For leftovers, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days. Keep chicken and tzatziki separate from greens to prevent sogginess. You can use store-bought tzatziki for convenience.
