Preparation

  • Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon.
  • Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and add butter.
  • Dip each roll half into the egg mixture, coating well.
  • Place the coated rolls onto the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.

Serving

  • Serve Hawaiian Roll French Toast warm right off the skillet.
  • Drizzle with maple syrup and sprinkle powdered sugar on top for a lovely presentation.
  • Pair it with fresh fruit like strawberries or bananas for extra flavor and color.

Notes

Make sure to coat the rolls well in the egg mixture. Use a non-stick skillet for easier flipping. For added flavor, consider adding a pinch of nutmeg to the egg mixture.
