Ingredients

  • 1 lb steak (ribeye, sirloin, or NY strip) Use any cut of steak you prefer.
  • Salt Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika Optional for added flavor.

For the Zucchini

  • 2 medium zucchinis, sliced into strips
  • 2 tbsp olive oil For tossing zucchini.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Pinch red pepper flakes Adjust based on spice preference.

For the Sauce

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce Substitute with gluten-free soy sauce for a gluten-free version.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Pinch red pepper flakes

To Assemble

  • Optional cooked rice or quinoa Use as a base for the bowl.
  • Optional fresh parsley, lemon wedges For garnish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Let the steak sit at room temperature for about 20 minutes before grilling.
  • Season the steak with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.

Grilling

  • Grill the steak for 3 to 5 minutes on each side.
  • After grilling, let the steak rest for a few minutes, then slice it.
  • Toss the zucchini strips with olive oil, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt.
  • Grill zucchini for about 2 to 3 minutes per side until tender.

Sauce Preparation

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes.

Assembly

  • To assemble the bowl, start with a base of cooked rice or quinoa.
  • Top it with the sliced steak, grilled zucchini, and drizzle the savory sauce over everything.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs or lemon wedges if desired.

Notes
