  • 2 pounds potatoes, grated Choose starchy potatoes like Russets for the best texture.
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 pieces eggs
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil Heat oil in a baking dish before adding potato mixture.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Grate the potatoes and place them in a large bowl.
  • Add the chopped onion, eggs, flour, salt, and pepper to the bowl.
  • Mix everything until well combined.
  • Heat the oil in a baking dish in the oven for 5 minutes.
  • Pour the potato mixture into the hot baking dish.

Baking

  • Bake for 45-50 minutes until the top is golden brown.
  • Let it cool slightly before slicing and serving.
