Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 cobs Fresh Corn Use fresh corn for the best flavor.
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt (to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper (to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes (optional) Adjust spice level to suit your taste.
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese (freshly grated) You can substitute with Pecorino Romano.

Cooking

  • Start by boiling a large pot of salted water. Add the fresh corn and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until tender.
  • While the corn is cooking, melt the unsalted butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant. Be careful not to let the garlic burn.
  • Once the corn is cooked, remove it from the pot and let it cool slightly.
  • Brush the garlic butter mixture over each ear of corn, making sure to coat it well.
  • Season the corn with salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes if using.
  • Finally, sprinkle the freshly grated Parmesan cheese generously over each ear of corn.
  • Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
