  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese Freshly grated will give the best flavor.
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs Substitutes: oats or crushed crackers.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Add more for extra garlic flavor.
  • 1/4 cup milk Add more if the mixture feels too dry.
  • 1 large egg Binds the ingredients together.
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup garlic butter For glazing the meatloaf.

Optional Ingredients

  • herbs like parsley or thyme For added flavor.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, milk, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Transfer the mixture into a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
  • Brush the garlic butter over the top of the meatloaf.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Notes

Serve warm with sides like roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad. For extra flavor, add fresh herbs right before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or freeze slices for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
