  • 1 lb ground beef Make sure the beef is cooked thoroughly before mixing in the cheese.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese You can use different cheeses like mozzarella or pepper jack.
  • 1 can biscuit dough Homemade biscuit dough can also be used.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese Sprinkle over the tops before baking.
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Dipping sauces (optional) Suggestions: ketchup, ranch, BBQ sauce, hot sauce.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Add minced garlic, salt, and pepper; cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the cheddar cheese until melted.
  • Open the biscuit dough and separate it into individual pieces.
  • Take a piece of dough and flatten it slightly. Add a spoonful of the beef and cheese mixture in the center, then fold the dough over to seal.
  • Place the filled bombs on a baking sheet.
  • Sprinkle parmesan cheese over the tops.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

Serving

  • Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.

Storage

  • To store leftovers, let them cool completely, then place in an airtight container and keep in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat in the oven or microwave before serving.

Notes

If you want to add extra flavor, include some chopped herbs or spices in the beef mixture. You can turn these bombs into a vegetarian option by substituting the ground beef with a plant-based meat alternative or sautéed vegetables. Add diced jalapeños for a spicy kick.
