  • 1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined) Ensure shrimp are properly cleaned.
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter Melted for the sauce.
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced) Fresh garlic works best.
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream For a creamier sauce.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Adjust to taste.
  • Salt and pepper to taste Season according to your preference.
  • Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish) Optional garnish.

Preparation

  • Cook the pasta according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  • Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine, bringing to a gentle simmer.
  • Stir in the cooked pasta and Parmesan cheese, mixing well. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

If you have leftovers, let the pasta cool down and store it in an airtight container. It will keep in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. When reheating, add a splash of water or cream to help bring back the creaminess.
