Ingredients
  

For the Meatballs

  • 1 pound ground beef Can substitute with ground turkey or chicken.
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese For the meatballs.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced For the meatballs.
  • 1 large egg Binding agent for the meatballs.
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Sauce

  • 4 tablespoons butter Divided usage: 2 tablespoons for searing the meatballs and 2 tablespoons for the sauce.
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese For the sauce.
  • Parsley for garnish (optional) Fresh parsley enhances presentation.

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix the ground beef, breadcrumbs, 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, egg, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Form the mixture into meatballs.

Cooking

  • Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a pan over medium heat and sear the meatballs until browned on all sides.
  • Remove the meatballs and set aside.
  • In the same pan, melt the remaining butter, then add heavy cream and stir.
  • Add in the 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan and mix until creamy.
  • Return the meatballs to the pan and simmer in the sauce for about 10 minutes.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Freeze meatballs without sauce for longer storage. Reheat before serving.
